 This
time the octopus is real. See the little tater-tot-lookin'
things in the upper left? Those are takoyaki,
AKA octopus dumplings. You bite through the chewy dough
and inside is a little curl of tentacle. Tasty and amusing!
At the lower right are smoked salmon sushi,
sushi with shrimp
furikake, and sushi
with toasted sesame seeds. Rounding out the meal
is steamed
zucchini and sakura-mochi
(mochiko version).
This is the third box in a row that features sakura-mochi.
When I said on its recipe page that it makes a lot,
I was not kidding.
