I've
got some more onigiri
in today's lunch. Two of them are actually made with
some tomato-infused chicken fried rice that I originally
made for omurice. They're
ketchuppy-sticky, so I made them small enough to pick
up with chopsticks. The other onigiri is made with shiitake-flavored
rice - I cooked the rice in water reserved from
the last time I soaked dried shiitake mushrooms - and
stuffed with salmon. Then there are some steamed
broccoli stem stars, edamame, and taiyaki.
The taiyaki looks like it has a skin condition because
the anko filling shows through the pancake. I don't
care - anko is delicious!
