Today
I have squid & vegetable yakisoba
(with yakisoba sauce in a little container), baked
plantain, edamame, persimmon,
and storebought daifuku.
I'm a lifelong National Geographic reader, and
on looking at this photo it occurred to me that the
squid is perfectly camouflaged against its background
of soba. However, that turned out to be ineffective
as a survival strategy.
