I
like baking bread! Even though I have a bread machine
to take the kneading drudgery out of the process, I
was intrigued by the no-knead
bread recipe I've seen around the Web lately, and
I gave that a whirl. The result: a loaf of really tasty
bread and a kitchen covered in wheat bran. So, today
I'm eating a ham sandwich
on that flavorful, big-bubbly-crumb bread with some
shrimp chips on the side. In the other half of the container
are some raisins, a bit of storebought melon bread,
and rice with anko. (Anko
being sweet red bean paste.)
