Today's
lunch begins prosaically enough with a small grilled cheese sandwich.
However, it's on no-knead
bread. If you click the pic you can see the cheese
through the bread. That's because no-knead bread has
such an open, bubbly texture that the cheese just melts
into it. The cheese becomes one with the bread. I cannot
stress enough the deliciosity of molten cheese permeating
this firm, robust bread.
Then there's baked
purple sweet potato, some steamed pole beans
(broccoli withdrawal is already starting to set in),
grapes, and an an mochi.
