I introduce the traditional end-of-the-week festival
of leftovers? Here we have some unagi
no kabayaki (grilled eel) over rice, baked buttercup squash, edamame, baked purple sweet potato, a
baby banana, a dragon fruit, and some persimmon. The
little spoon, again, is for the dragon fruit, which
I have put cut-side-up because I think the seeds-in-white-flesh
is pretty.
Red (okay, magenta), yellow, orange, green,
purple, black, white. The only color I'm missing
is blue. Drat, if I'd thought about it I'd have scooped
some blueberries out of the bag in my freezer!
