Thanksgiving leftovers! By this time I'd carved all
the meat off the turkey and boiled what was left for
broth so I could make, among other things, Thanksgiving
aftermath rice. Rice made with turkey broth instead
of water, with some carrots and celery and bits of turkey
to kick it up a little.
On the other side I have the everpresent edamame, a blue country
cornbread muffin, and some persimmon. You'll be
seeing a lot of persimmon in the upcoming lunches, by
the way, as I got eight of the things while shopping
with a coworker. The glory of bulk pricing!
