Homework

Ghost:
-
Zorak, here's a caller with a question.
-
Zorak:
-
Okay.
-
Caller 1:
-
Zorak, are you there?
-
Zorak:
-
Yes, I think so.
-
Caller 1:
-
I have a problem.
-
Zorak:
-
I'm listenin'!
-
Caller 1:
-
Well, you see, I'm kinda small for my age.
-
Zorak:
-
Mm-hm.
-
Caller 1:
-
Sometimes other kids make fun of me.
-
Zorak:
-
Uh-huh.
-
Caller 1:
-
I just wish I was bigger.
-
Zorak:
-
Yeah, well, listen, kid, being big don't mean diddly! For example, look at
Space Ghost. He is considered large by Earth standards. But he can't take
two steps without tripping himself! (crashing sound)
-
Ghost:
-
(on the floor, crying) Aa-haa-haa-haa-haa! Aa-haa-haa-haa-haa-haa-haa! Ah...
-
Zorak:
-
(as Space Ghost cries) I, on the other hand, am also considered small for
my size. But I have accomplished much!
-
Ghost:
-
Yeah? Like what?
-
Zorak:
-
Next question!
-
Caller 2:
-
Zorak, I hate doing homework! I don't ever want to do homework again!
-
Zorak:
-
Good idea! Don't do any homework. Fail all your classes. Drop out of school,
get a crummy job, live in your parent's basement 'til you're forty! Sound
like fun?
-
Caller 2:
-
No, I guess not.
-
Zorak:
-
Then do your homework! Next caller!
-
Ghost:
-
We'll be back next week, same time, for more of Zorak's Helpful Hints.
-
Zorak:
-
Bye-bye.
