Want to set up your own LiveJournal mood themes with these icons?

If you want to create a mood theme using my icons but are intimidated by LiveJournal's instructions, don't worry. I've started creating kits for these mood themes. The kit zipfile includes all the graphics you'll need for the theme you want, a preview of the theme, and step-by-step setup instructions. If you don't see the one you want below, feel free to request it.

Want to use these icons?

If you would like to use these on your own site, go right ahead. You have my permission, as long as you put the files on your site as opposed to linking to the ones here, and post a credit note & link (like "Mood icons from Slack & Hash's Domain") nearby. You don't have to ask me - though I wouldn't mind hearing about it. :)  I'd prefer it of you didn't use the preview icons, as I'm often still trying to get the base picture just right, but if you do please check back and get the final image when I post it.

Want to make icons of your own characters based on these? Sure, go ahead. Just post that the icons are based on the ones that I made, and link back to my site as above. After all, if you are working from images I created you're using my artwork!

Got a suggestion for a new mood icon? Speak up! I'm willing to add icons to both sets in progress and finished sets, if the idea catches my fancy.
