Ayuya, AKA Tommytoh, is one prolific FF9 doujinshi maker. This is the ninth DJ I've reviewed by that circle(s). This is also the second earliest.

There are some easy-to-understand gags in this doujinshi. Brahne barks orders at Steiner and Beatrix, and Steiner goes to round up the Knights of Pluto. Remember the two he found out of uniform? They're even more out of uniform this time, and under, a-heh, very different circumstances. Lani holds Eiko up by her wings - until she sees that they come out of what looks like a demonic little Garland imp thing. Garnet renames herself - but not after no little bitty dagger; she goes for the Murasame sword. (The kanji used means "a passing shower," BTW.)

The title frankly has me puzzled. I can easily sort out R-L confusion, but what does that give me here? "Level Foret?" (I read French, so that looks like "Flat Forest" to me.) Lever? Revel? Folet? Eesh. I've played the ball where it lies and kept the title exactly as is, of course. But because "Rever Foret" is the title of the serious story, in which Dagger, Vivi, And Steiner sail over a desert in the Hilda Garde, then drop off Freya and reminisce about Zidane, it seems to me that the title is actually a very garbled "Never Forget."
